We are commissioned by the Deutsche Bahn AG (German railway corporation) to dismantle out-of-service rail vehicles which are no longer permissible for public transport use. The main reason why the German railway corporation dismantles their disused locomotives and wagons is to acquire spare parts as for some of these 30-year-old rail vehicles there are no longer spare parts available on the market.
When taking these out-of-service trains to pieces, the railway corporation specifies which spare parts are to be kept for the individual train models. We carefully take apart the individual rail vehicles by adhering to the necessary disassembling specifications. The parts are then processed ready for reuse. The extracted parts are then sent back to the railway corporation. By returning these disassembled parts, we help the German railway corporation to save enormous costs.
