The copper scrap and copper alloy sector is also another business area of Scholz AG and the company is continuously present on these scrap markets. With scrap copper alloys, such as brass, bronze, gunmetal (chips, radiators, fittings etc.), we buy small and large quantities with copper contents ranging from 40 - 80 % as well as high-quality scrap copper with contents as high as 85 - 99 % (wires/sheet metal, heavy copper etc.).
As a result of long-term delivery contracts with our purchasers, we can continually purchase products from our suppliers by offering the best possible market conditions whether this be for spot market purchasing or on LME (London Metal Exchange)-bound fixation terms.
Once the scrap has been graded and processed, we supply our customers with suitable base metals for manufacturing new products.
